Labeling Files
Labeling files is CleanSlate's way of organizing files by relevance and/or making sets.
Assigning a Label
- Select the Files tab of your site.
- Hover-over the file you wish to assign a label to and select the option to "Edit". An Edit File Properties window should appear.
- Select the field entitled "Labels".
- Once selected, a drop-down menu will appear with all the labels that are already created. From here, you have the option to select one of these or you can start typing to create your own label for the file. (make sure to hit the enter key after creating a new label to make it official)
- Click "Save" to keep your changes.
Assigning Multiple Labels
- Select the checkboxes next to the files you wish to label.
- A label button will appear in the top right corner of your screen. Select it.
- Select the labels field, then select which label you want to use from the drop-down menu.
- Click 'Save' when you've chosen your label or labels.
Removing Labels
- Select the Files tab of your site.
- Hover over the file you wish to assign a label to and select the option to "Edit". An Edit File Properties window should appear.
- Select the field entitled "Labels".
- Hover over the "X" on the label you wish to remove, and then click when your mouse turns into a pointing finger.
- Click "Save" to keep your changes.
